Lost 15 pounds since Thanksgiving

Had to get back to eating when hungry around Thanksgiving. This thing just won't go away so I gave in again with success, I lost 15 pounds eating exactly what I want to eat. I'm kind of tired of talking about it but this obsession with weight loss just won't leave me. I can do everything in life but this eating thing just haunts me. Day in and day out I am obsessed with loosing weight. I see myself slim and not worrying about my weight and I will never go on another diet.

After loosing this 15 pounds, I thought I had this eating in check but today I wondered why I just couldn't wait for hunger, I just wanted to eat because it was there.  So I decided to give in.  I realize even slim people over eat sometimes at least I think they do, they just don't give it any thought. So tonight, no pity party just wait for the next hunger which may not come tonight.

Did the skinny fiber work?

I took the Skinny fiber for 20 days straight and lost about 3 pounds with out changing my diet. I am pleased but for $59 I  would expect more. I got constipated because I think I needed to drink a lot more water. Well all in all 3 pound is 3 pounds, and I'll take that but since I ran out, I may try it at a later day.

Does Skinny Fiber work?

After taking skinny fiber for 20 days I only lost 3 pounds which I am greatful for but it's not worth the money for 3 pounds. I guess I was looking for a miracle. I really wish something would click in my mind to say its not working and deep down I really do know what works. The problem is for some reason I just can't seem to get it together to do what it takes to get the weight off. I guess I want to eat more than loose weight. I seem to be looking for instant gratification.

Skinny Fiber is back

I ran into an old friend who I hadn't seen in a year. Last year she introduced me to a product called skinny fiber. It is a network marketing company and I decided to try to loose weight and make money from the company. Skinny fiber is a pill that cleans out your system. I tried it last September or October but I would forget to take the pill so I soon dropped the program because on several websites I listened to them review the product and got the message that the testimonies were stock photos and dr oz suggested a product with the same ingredient, glucomannanwhich is a fiber and is sold in the local health food store. After taking the glucomannan  for the past year on and off and I have not lost any weight  using it. Well anyway, I saw my friend and she actually shrank in size. I was amazed to see her and she says she was now one of the testimonials on the website. I was amazed, so I rejoined the company. She gave me some samples and I have taken them for the last two days and tonight with supprise I have not eaten dinner and I am not hungry. I have been paying close attention to when hunger hits me but tonight I just forgot to eat. Imagine that, I never forget to eat. I can hardly wait to get my own bottle and I will continue to test it along with ttapp and wasting when hungry and stopping when I am no longer hungry. Wow I'm impressed!!

Doing Ttapp

I decided to do ttapp once a week because it makes my body feel great but since I am so heavy, my knees hurt so I find that I can only do it once a week. I do feel like my stomach is going down due to the way my clothes fit. I will try to increase Ttapp as my knees get stronger.  I continued to take skinny fiber until I ran out. I'm awaiting my new shipment which should be here sometimes this week.

I've slacked off a bit with the ttapp but my tight pants are getting a little looser even though I have not followed the whole plan to the exact science. I think it takes a lot of practice to change so I will continue to practice. The man made god made food went out the window but today I plan to get right back on track. I don't know why I can't seem to make myself do what I need to do. Some say it takes 21 days to break habits, so I guess I need a plan for 21 days lol.  I need to reconstruct the man made god made to my life style just to see what happens, I guess I am just an experiment in the makings.

Aoother way to loose weight TTapp

I slacked off TTapp for about 4 days because my knees started to hurt. After a few days the pain in my knees stopped  and  I went right back to using TTapp, only this time I do it every other day.  TTapp makes my body feel good. I move better and I can get up and down the stairs a whole lot easier. I have not taken my measurements yet but I am wearing a pair of pants that felt to uncomfortable to wear a few months ago. The work out actually makes me want to  move around a little more. TTapp encourages people to eat God Made food for two days and Man Made foods for one day.  I have incorporated this into my daily routine and it is making me more aware of what I eating and  how my body feels after a particular meal. I hope with eating when hungry and stopping when I am no longer hungry  any more helps with my weight loss because this would be a fantastic way to lose all the unwanted  pounds. TTapp

TTAPP review

Yesterday was day 4 of the TTAPP workout and I decided to wait until bed time to do the routine. I must say, it was a lot harder to do it after working all day but I did sleep better last night. As I woke up this morning, I found myself making excusses why I didn't want to do the exercise but in the back of my mind I know it actually makes me feel better during the day. After the work out my body feels like it is still moving (if that sounds right). It feels like my body is still in exercise mold.  My knees hurt a little but I know it is because I usually don't move much. I keep thinking about the man in the video who  was able to move his belt buckle 4 holes in three weeks. I still have not measured myself but I will try to make an effort today.

T-Tapp

Day 3 of T-TAPP  and I lost 3 pounds. While the exercise is only 15 minutes, I am sweating all over. My body heated up right from the start and I truly feel like I have worked out. I only wished I'd taken my measurements when I started. Tomorrow is day 4 and I plan to follow through.

Can't you really lose a dress size with a 15 minute work outl?

Today I started the t-tapp work out. I brought it about 10 years ago but never really used it. I brought it after reading about a lady who lost a dress size in two weeks in Woman's World Magazine. The article showed a basic exercise that could be done in about 7 minutes. Over the years I did the 7 minute exercise when my body would get stiff and in just two days I could move better but unfortunately I did not continue or even look at the T-TAPP CD's. I only did the 7 minutes when I was in pain or feeling like I could hardly walk in the mall. As soon as my body felt better, TTapp was all over. 
After 10 years, I decided to pull out TTapp and actually look at it, it inspired me to start moving my body.  I tell ya, boy o boy did I get a work out. The work out was only 15 minutes and I was sweating and panting.  The workout made me feel like a whole new person, I feel energized and ready to do some neglected chores. 
One of the men in the videos says he lost 4 belt holes in three weeks. I will to update every week for the next 4 weeks on my progress. I will post my measurements in tomorrows post.

Still trying the Diets don't work approach

I am still on this journey of eating when hungry and stopping when I'm no longer hungry. It has become a naturally way of eating but the pounds are not falling off like I would like them to. I usually go up and down about 7 pounds which my doctor says is normall. She keeps saying you will have to change  your eating to get results even though my blood pressure is 120 over 80 and my number on the diabetic counter shows 74. I do not want to count calories or count carbs for the rest of my life. I have added more fruit and some vegetables to my diet but I still eat what I want. I want this way of eating  to work so bad that I even incorporated eating portions the size of my fist. I found a bowl at Target that is about the size of my fist. I drink orange juice from a child's sippy cup which is about a little less than cup. I love eating this way but I only wish the pounds would drop off. My mind now thinks like a thin person so I need my body to catch up. Any suggestion?

Can you really lose 9 lbs in 2 days?

Womans World Magazine dated April 9 2012 has the complete diet.

Breakfast choose one per day
unlimited eggs, any style, 1 tsp olive oil, unlimited spinach
1/2 cup of strawberries or 1 small piece of fruit
 or
unlimited turkey sausage
1/2 cup each bell pepper and onion sauteed in 2 tsp olive oil
1/2 cup of strawberries or 1 small piece of fruit

Lunch Choose one per day
 Cobb Salad - unlimited sliced chicken breast, sliced  hard boiled egg, crumbled turkey bacon, 1oz cheese , 2 cups mixed greens. 1/4 cup each tomato and avocado, 1/2 tbs olive oil and vinegar to taste
 or
unlimited cooked ground turkey, 2tsp taco seasoning, 1oz cheese  3tbs salsa serve taco -style in large  lettuce leaves
or
Tuna Melt: unlimited tuna 1TBS each mayo, celery and onion, form patty, top with 1 oz cheese broil to melt, 2 cups baby spinach, 1TBS olive oil  and  vinegar to taste

Dinner Choose one per day
 unlimited chicken breast or fish sauteed in 1tbs olive oil with 1/2 tsp garlic. 1 cup each zucchini and green beans stir in 2tbs olive oil oregano to taste. 1/2 sliced tomato, 1oz feta
 or
unlimited lean beef or pork strips, 1/2 cup each bell pepper onion an mushrooms 2 tbs fajita seasoning sauteed 1 Tbs olive oil. Serve fajita style in a large lettuce leaves with 2 tbs salsa for dipping
or
1 lean ground beef patty 1oz cheese
broccoli slaw -11/2 cup shredded broccoli, 1/4 cup grated carrot, 1 tbs olive oil, wine vinegar as desired

Snacks Choose 0-2 daily as needed to control hunger

1 hard boiled egg
or
15 large ripe olives
or
1cup celery and 1TBS blue cheese dressing
or
2 oz canned tuna 1 cup cucumber slices

Could I lose 9 pounds in two days

A week ago I read an article in Woman's World Magazine where the claim was "Lose 9 pounds in two days". As I looked at the diet, I thought it was dueable and since I had most of the food items on hand I decided to change the diet and added a few things such as adding low carb salad dressings. To my supprise I lost 4 pounds in two days and I wasn't even hungry. Today I will continue the diet but still waiting until hungry before eating.

Feeling Anxiety and Overwhelmed

Some times I put things off until the last minute. I know deep down that I need to make a business phone call but inside I might be a little fearful of the outcome, but after the call a bit of excited energy goes though my body and I usually don't know where to put the emotions.  It feels good but  the emotion feels to big for me.  For a minute it feels unbearable.   Today I had that feeling and decided to write about it 


Ever had that dread of doing something that you know has to be done and you keep putting it off until you finally make up your mind to do it.  And when you did it, it wasn't as bad as you thought it would be but fear and excitement goes all over your body. That feeling of excited energy flows though your body and for me, its a bit unsettling.  It feels good but its uncomfortable. My first thought is food.  I just didn't want to feel those feelings, and why not.  Because they are uncomfortable I decided to write this post and the feelings finally gently went out of my body. It finally feels good to pay attention to my body. I've eaten my feelings for far to long.  I realize its OK to just feel what ever is going on at this minute.  This minute is all I really have. Thank God

Weight Watchers Convert

I've always shot down Weight Watchers because I could never lose more than 10 pounds with the diet. I posted a few hater videos on this blog and now I have to eat my words. Weight Watchers has come up with a points plus program that seems to be quit easy. I started last week during The Biggest Loser promotion. It was easy ti follow with the help of my Vita mix and my Skinny fiber pills (which are made up of fiber). I've lost 4 pounds this week. WhooHoo!

I am still using The Diets Don't Work techniques to lose the weight. It has really saved my life. When I started it about two years ago, I had a hypo thyroid problem and learning to just give myself permission to eat I was able speed up my metabolism and stop taking the thyroid pills. Now I hope I can finish the losing this weight with the help of the Vita Mix blender, Weight Watchers and Skinny Fiber.

I LOST 27 POUNDS

Wow, two years later and only 27 pounds weight loss.  Some have said well, that's the natural way to lose weight and maybe in 10 years you would have  lost 100 pounds. Well that sucks!.  7 years? Ok I guess that is better than gaining 27 pounds. 


I gained a better respect for food. I wait for hunger and enjoy it a lot more than I use to. It feels good to choice what I want to eat instead of waking up in the morning and thinking about what am I going to eat today and what diet will I be on.
